It is the responsibility of both the client and the service provider to ensure clear communication and mutually agreed-upon terms. By using our services, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that Nurture Domestics cannot be held liable for any disputes or incidents arising from the client-staff relationship.
We encourage clients to take the necessary precautions and maintain open communication with service providers for a smooth working relationship.
1. Introduction
Welcome to Nurture Domestics, your trusted partner in household staffing services. These terms and conditions govern your engagement with Nurture Domestics as a client seeking domestic staff services.
2. Service Request
To request domestic staff services through Nurture Domestics, clients must provide details of their staffing needs, including job requirements, scheduling preferences, and any specific considerations such as childcare responsibilities or household duties through the website.
3. Matching Process
Nurture Domestics will endeavor to match clients with suitable domestic staff based on their preferences and requirements. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of specific staff members or suitability for every job.
4. Service Fees
Clients are responsible for paying service fees as outlined by Nurture Domestics. In addition to the domestic staff’s salary, clients are required to pay a commitment fee and admin fee of ₦10,000 each. Additionally, clients may be required to pay an additional fee for services such as childcare.
5. Negotiation
Clients and domestic staff are encouraged to negotiate the terms of their employment, including salary, duties, and any additional fees. However, Nurture Domestics reserves the right to intervene in negotiations or adjust fees if it is determined that the workload is disproportionate to the compensation offered.
6. Code of Conduct
Clients are expected to treat domestic staff with respect and professionalism at all times. Any misconduct or mistreatment of staff members may result in the termination of services and the forfeiture of any fees paid. However, clients will still be responsible for paying for any services rendered up to that point.
7. Confidentiality
Clients are required to maintain the confidentiality of information shared with domestic staff, including personal details and household matters. Disclosure of confidential information may result in termination of services.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate the service agreement with written notice. In the event of termination, any outstanding obligations, including fees for services rendered, must be settled promptly.
9. Compliance with Laws
Clients are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations governing employment in Nigeria, including labor laws, tax laws, and immigration laws.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or relating to the service agreement shall be resolved through negotiation and mediation in good faith. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be escalated to arbitration in accordance with the laws of Nigeria.
11. Amendments
Nurture Domestics reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to clients in writing.
12. Acknowledgment
By engaging Nurture Domestics for domestic staff services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
